The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the official notification for ITICAT (Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test) 2025. Candidates can begin applying for the ITICAT-2025 exam from this date. Be sure to complete your application before the last date.

All applications must be submitted online by this date. After the deadline, the portal will close, and no further applications will be accepted.

Candidates must pay the application fee before this date to complete their registration. Ensure payment is made through the official payment portal.

If there are any discrepancies or errors in your application, the correction window will be open on this date. Make sure to update your application details by this time.

Admit cards for eligible candidates will be released on this date. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official portal.

The ITICAT-2025 exam will be held on this date. Ensure you are well-prepared and arrive at the exam center on time.

The results of ITICAT-2025 will be declared on this date. Candidates can check their results on the official website.

The application fee for ITICAT-2025 must be paid online as part of the registration process. The fee varies depending on the candidate's category. Please ensure you submit the fee before the last date for application submission (08 April 2025) to complete your registration.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age : 14 Years

Relaxation in Age Limit:

• Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ST/OBC):
  Age relaxation of up to 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable. For example, OBC candidates can apply up to the age of 43 years, and SC/ST candidates can apply up to the age of 45 years.

• Female Candidates:
  Female candidates will receive an age relaxation of up to 3 years for all categories.

• Physically Disabled Candidates:
  A relaxation of up to 10 years in the maximum age limit is provided to physically disabled candidates.

• Important Notes:

  • The age is calculated based on the 1st of July 2025.

  • Candidates must provide valid proof of their age, such as a birth certificate, school certificate, or other government-recognized documents.

  • The age limit is strictly enforced, and candidates who do not meet the age criteria will be disqualified from the application process.

Instructions Details

1. Please download the Prospectus and concerned Advertisement from the Board’s website (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in) and read it carefully before you start filling the Online Application Form.

2. You are only allowed to apply for ITICAT – 2025 “On-Line” only through the Board’s website (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in).
   आपको ITICAT - 2025 के लिए "ऑन-लाइन" आवेदन करने की अनुमति केवल पर्षद की वेबसाइट- (https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in) के माध्यम से है।
3. Please ensure your eligibility as per the criteria laid down for ITICAT-2025.
   कृपया ITICAT-2025 के लिए निर्धारित मानदंडों के अनुसार अपनी पात्रता सुनिश्चित करें।
4. Examination/Counselling Fees:
   परीक्षा/परामर्श शुल्क:

5. “Candidates are requested to fill the Application Form very carefully. No corrections will be permitted once the Application Form is submitted.”
   “उम्मीदवारों से अनुरोध है कि वे आवेदन पत्र बहुत सावधानी से भरें। एक बार आवेदन पत्र जमा हो जाने के बाद किसी सुधार की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।''
6. Candidate’s name, father’s name, mothers’ name, gender and date of birth must be same as per their Xth Mark Sheet / Admit Card.
   उम्मीदवार का नाम, पिता का नाम, माता का नाम, लिंग और जन्म तिथि उनकी दसवीं मार्कशीट/एडमिट कार्ड के अनुसार ही होनी चाहिए।
7. Candidate are requested to only give their own or his / her father / mother mobile number and email address because all necessary communication will be done on the same mobile number and email address. Further no any request will be entertained to change/update the mobile number and email address throughout the session after successful registration.
   अभ्यर्थी से अनुरोध है कि वे केवल अपना या अपने पिता/माता का मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल पता दें क्योंकि सभी आवश्यक संचार उसी मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल पता पर किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा, सफल पंजीकरण के बाद पूरे सत्र के दौरान मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल पता को बदलने/अपडेट करने के किसी भी अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।
8. The Examination/Counselling Fee can only be paid online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.
   परीक्षा/परामर्श शुल्क का भुगतान केवल ऑनलाइन यथा; नेट बैंकिंग, क्रेडिट कार्ड, डेबिट कार्ड, यूपीआई का उपयोग करके किया जा सकता है। संबंधित बैंक/पेमेंट गेटवे इंटीग्रेटर द्वारा उम्मीदवार से प्रोसेसिंग शुल्क और लागू जीएसटी (परीक्षा शुल्क के अतिरिक्त) लिया जाएगा।
9. Application Procedure: Steps to be followed to apply online.
   आवेदन प्रक्रिया: ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित चरणों का पालन करना होगा।
   Candidates must read carefully the Instructions (how to fill up the Application Form online as per the Prospectus and concerned Advertisement available on Board’s Website. Candidates not complying with the Instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
   उम्मीदवारों को पर्षद की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध विवरण पुस्तिका और संबंधित विज्ञापन के अनुसार निर्देशों (ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र कैसे भरें) को ध्यान से पढ़ना चाहिए। निर्देशों का पालन नहीं करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को सीधे तौर पर अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया जाएगा।
   Step चरण:
   • Step 1: Registration :The candidate should enter the required registration details such as, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender etc while doing the registration for filling the Online Application Form and he/she is also required to create PASSWORD. After successful submission of the registration details, a registration number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future reference/correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Registration Number and created Password by him/her self.
     चरण 1: पंजीकरण: ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरने के लिए पंजीकरण करते समय उम्मीदवार को आवश्यक पंजीकरण विवरण जैसे नाम, पिता का नाम, माता का नाम, जन्म तिथि, लिंग आदि दर्ज करना होगा और उन्हें पासवर्ड भी बनाना होगा। पंजीकरण विवरण सफलतापूर्वक जमा करने के बाद, एक पंजीकरण संख्या उत्पन्न होगी और इसका उपयोग आवेदन पत्र के शेष चरणों को पूरा करने के लिए किया जाएगा और भविष्य के सभी संदर्भ/पत्राचार के लिए भी आवश्यक होगा। लॉगिन के लिए, उम्मीदवार पंजीकरण संख्या और स्वयं द्वारा बनाए गए पासवर्ड का उपयोग करेंगे।
   • Step 2: Multi-step Application Form Submission :The Candidates can log in with the system-generated Registration Number and pre-created Password for completing the Multi-step Application Form like personal details, contact details, qualification details and uploading of scanned images of Photo, English Signature, Hindi Signature and required documents (if any).
     चरण 2: बहु-चरणीय आवेदन पत्र जमा करना: उम्मीदवार व्यक्तिगत विवरण, संपर्क विवरण, योग्यता विवरण जैसे बहु-चरणीय आवेदन पत्र को पूरा करने और फोटो, अंग्रेजी हस्ताक्षर, हिंदी हस्ताक्षर और आवश्यक दस्तावेजों (यदि कोई हो) की स्कैन की गई छवियों को अपलोड करने के लिए सिस्टम-जनरेटेड पंजीकरण संख्या और पूर्व-निर्मित पासवर्ड के साथ लॉग इन करें।
     Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, English Signature, Hindi Signature and required documents (if any):
     उम्मीदवार की फोटो, अंग्रेजी हस्ताक्षर, हिंदी हस्ताक्षर और आवश्यक दस्तावेजों (यदि कोई हो) की स्कैन की गई छवियां अपलोड करें:
     • The recent passport size photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background. Photograph should be named as ' [first two characters of candidate name]_Photo' and in .JPG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 300 kb. Width and Height of the Photo should be 200px and 250px respectively.
       हाल में खींची गई पासपोर्ट आकार की रंगीन फोटो जिसमें कानों के साथ-साथ 80% चेहरा साफ दिखाई देना चाहिए (मास्क के बिना)। तस्वीर की फ़ाइल का नाम '[अभ्यर्थी के नाम के पहले दो अक्षर] _Photo' होना चाहिए | यह JPG प्रारूप (स्पष्ट रूप से सुपाठ्य) और 10 kb से 300 kb के बीच होना चाहिए। फोटो की चौड़ाई और ऊंचाई क्रमशः 200px और 250px होनी चाहिए।
     • English Signature file should be named as '[first two characters of candidate name]_EngSignature' and in .JPG format (clearly legible) between 5 kb to 50 kb. Width and Height of the English Signature should be 300px and 100px respectively.
       अंग्रेजी हस्ताक्षर फ़ाइल का नाम '[उम्मीदवार के नाम के पहले दो अक्षर]_EngSignature' होना चाहिए और .JPG प्रारूप में (स्पष्ट रूप से सुपाठ्य) 5 केबी से 50 केबी के बीच होना चाहिए। अंग्रेजी हस्ताक्षर की चौड़ाई और ऊंचाई क्रमशः 300px और 100px होनी चाहिए।
     • Hindi Signature file should be named as '[first two characters of candidate name]_HindiSignature' and in .JPG format (clearly legible) between 5 kb to 50 kb. Width and Height of the Hindi Signature should be 300px and 100px respectively.
       हिंदी हस्ताक्षर फ़ाइल का नाम '[उम्मीदवार के नाम के पहले दो अक्षर]__HindiSignature ' होना चाहिए और .JPG प्रारूप में (स्पष्ट रूप से सुपाठ्य) 5 केबी से 50 केबी के बीच होना चाहिए। हिंदी हस्ताक्षर की चौड़ाई और ऊंचाई क्रमशः 300px और 100px होनी चाहिए।
     • Other documents (if any) file should be named as '[first two characters of candidate name]_filename' and in .PDF format (clearly legible) between 200 kb to 1024 kb.
       अन्य दस्तावेज़ (यदि कोई हो) फ़ाइल का नाम '[उम्मीदवार के नाम के पहले दो अक्षर]_फ़ाइल नाम' होना चाहिए और 200 केबी से 1024 केबी के बीच .PDF प्रारूप (स्पष्ट रूप से सुपाठ्य) में होना चाहिए।
       Note: The Candidate has to upload only his/her own photograph, signature, and certificate(s) (if any) as mentioned above (and not of anybody else) in a correct/proper manner, as the facility for correction will not be given in the future. In case, it is found at any time in the future that the Candidate has used/uploaded the photograph, signature, and certificate(s) of someone else in his/her Application Form/Admit Card, or he/she has tampered his/her Admit Card/Result, these acts of the candidate shall be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) Practices and he/she shall be proceeded with the actions as contemplated under the provisions of the Prospectus relating to Unfair Means Practices.
       नोट: उम्मीदवार को ऊपर बताए अनुसार केवल अपना फोटो, हस्ताक्षर और प्रमाणपत्र (यदि कोई हो) सही/उचित तरीके से अपलोड करना होगा (किसी और का नहीं), क्योंकि भविष्य में सुधार की सुविधा नहीं दी जाएगी। यदि भविष्य में किसी भी समय यह पाया जाता है कि उम्मीदवार ने अपने आवेदन पत्र/प्रवेश पत्र में किसी और के फोटो, हस्ताक्षर और प्रमाण पत्र का उपयोग/अपलोड किया है, या उसने अपने प्रवेश पत्र/परिणाम में छेड़छाड़ की है, तो उम्मीदवार के इन कृत्यों को अनुचित साधन (यूएफएम) प्रथाओं के रूप में माना जाएगा और उसे अनुचित से संबंधित विवरण पुस्तिका के प्रावधानों के तहत विचार किए गए कार्यों के साथ आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा।
   • Step 3: Preview & Final Submit: After completing Step 1 and Step 2, the candidate will preview his filled-up details. If any information is found wrong, it may be got it corrected by pressing “Back to Edit” button. After Editing the data advised to again preview the filled-up application form and the filled-up application form found to be Ok then click on “Final Submit and Proceed to Payment” button by giving your declaration.
     चरण 3: पूर्वावलोकन और अंतिम सबमिट: चरण 1 और चरण 2 को पूरा करने के बाद, उम्मीदवार अपने भरे हुए विवरण का पूर्वावलोकन करेंगे। यदि कोई जानकारी गलत पाई जाती है तो उसे "बैक टू एडिट" बटन दबाकर सही किया जा सकता है। डेटा को संपादित करने के बाद भरे हुए आवेदन पत्र का फिर से पूर्वावलोकन करने की सलाह दी गई और भरा हुआ आवेदन पत्र ठीक पाया जाता है तो फिर अपनी घोषणा देकर "Final Submit and Proceed to Payment" बटन पर क्लिक करें।
   • Step 4: Payment of Examination/Counselling Fee: After clicking on “Final Submit and Proceed to Payment” button, the candidate will have to pay the requisite examination fees. The fees can be paid only through online mode using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fees) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.
     चरण 4: परीक्षा/परामर्श शुल्क का भुगतान: "Final Submit and Proceed to Payment" बटन पर क्लिक करने के बाद, उम्मीदवार को अपेक्षित परीक्षा शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा। फीस का भुगतान केवल नेट बैंकिंग, क्रेडिट कार्ड, डेबिट कार्ड और यूपीआई का उपयोग करके ऑनलाइन मोड के माध्यम से किया जा सकता है। संबंधित बैंक/पेमेंट गेटवे इंटीग्रेटर द्वारा उम्मीदवार से प्रोसेसिंग शुल्क और लागू जीएसटी (परीक्षा शुल्क के अतिरिक्त) लिया जाएगा।
   • Step 5: Downloading of CONFIRMATION PAGE: After successful payment, candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled and the candidates have to approach the concerned bank for refund of amount. However, the candidate has to make another payment/transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated.
     चरण 5: पुष्टिकरण पृष्ठ डाउनलोड करना: सफल भुगतान के बाद, उम्मीदवार पुष्टिकरण पृष्ठ प्रिंट कर सकेंगे। यदि शुल्क के भुगतान के बाद पुष्टिकरण पृष्ठ उत्पन्न नहीं होता है तो लेनदेन रद्द कर दिया जाता है और उम्मीदवारों को राशि की वापसी के लिए संबंधित बैंक से संपर्क करना होगा। हालाँकि, पुष्टिकरण पृष्ठ उत्पन्न न होने की स्थिति में, उम्मीदवार को दूसरा भुगतान/लेनदेन करना होगा।
     If candidate’s examination/counselling fee payment is not successful within scheduled date & time of examination/counselling fee payment, then the filled-up application form will be treated as Incomplete Application Form and candidate will have no claim over it.
     यदि उम्मीदवार की परीक्षा/परामर्श शुल्क का भुगतान परीक्षा/परामर्श शुल्क भुगतान की निर्धारित तिथि और समय के भीतर सफल नहीं होता है, तो भरे हुए आवेदन पत्र को अधूरा माना जाएगा और उम्मीदवार का इस पर कोई दावा नहीं होगा।
10. Important Instruction about PASSWORD
    कुंजिका के बारे में महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश:
    1. During online form filling, candidate will be required to choose PASSWORD. Candidate is advised to record/remember their password for all future logins.
       ऑनलाइन आवेदन फॉर्म भरने के दौरान अभ्यर्थी को कुंजिका का चयन करना होगा। अभ्यर्थी को भविष्य के सभी लॉग इन के लिए अपनी कुंजिका को रिकॉर्ड /याद रखने की सलाह दी जाती है।
    2. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with their respective system generated Registration Number and the chosen Password.
       बाद में लॉग इन के लिए अभ्यर्थी अपने संबंधित सिस्टम पंजीकरण संख्या और चुने गई कुंजिका के साथ सीधे लॉग इन कर सकेंगे।
    3. Candidate is advised not to disclose or share their password with anybody. Neither BCECE Board nor NIC will be responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate.
       अभ्यर्थी को सलाह दी जाती है कि वह किसी के साथ अपनी कुंजिका साझा न करें । किसी अभ्यर्थी की कुंजिका के उल्लंघन या दुरुपयोग के लिए न तो बीसीईसीई बोर्ड और न ही एनआईसी जिम्मेदार होगा ।
    4. Candidate can change his/her passwords after login, if desired.
       यदि वांछित हो तो, अभ्यर्थी लॉग इन के बाद अपनी कुंजिका बदल सकते हैं।
    5. Candidate should remember to log out at the end of their session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered or modified by unauthorized persons.
       अभ्यर्थी को अपने सत्र के अंत में लॉग आउट करना चाहिए ताकि अनाधिकृत व्यक्तियों द्वारा अभ्यर्थी के विवरण से छेड़छाड़ या संशोधन नहीं किया जा सके।
11. The Password must be as per the following Password policy.
    कुंजिका निम्नलिखित कुंजिका-पॉलिसी के अनुसार होना चाहिए।
    1. Password must be 8 to 13 character long.
       कुंजिका 8 से 13 अक्षरों की होनी चाहिए।
    2. Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet.
       कुंजिका में कम से कम एक अपर केस एल्फाबेट होना चाहिए।
    3. Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
       कुंजिका में कम से कम एक लोअर केस एल्फाबेट होना चाहिए।
    4. Password must have at least one numeric value.
       कुंजिका में कम से कम एक संख्या मान होना चाहिए।
    5. Password must have at least one special characters eg.!@#$%^&*-.
       कुंजिका में कम से कम एक विशेष वर्ण होना चाहिए जैसे.! @#$%^**-.
12. How to reset your Password: The following options are available to reset Password
    अपना कुंजिका कैसे रीसेट करें: कुंजिका रीसेट करने के लिए निम्नलिखित विकल्प उपलब्ध हैं
    1. Using Security Question & its Answer you have chosen during Form filling.
       फॉर्म भरने के दौरान अपने सुरक्षा प्रश्न एवं इसके चुने हुए उत्तर का उपयोग करके।
    2. Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.
       अपने पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर/ ईमेल पर पाठ संदेश से भेजे सत्यापन कोड का उपयोग करके।
    3. Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.
       अपने पंजीकृत ईमेल पते पर ईमेल से भेजे गए रीसेट लिंक का उपयोग करके।
13. The Registration Number printed on the computer-generated Confirmation Page must be mentioned in all such correspondences. It is therefore essential to note down the registration number printed on the Confirmation Page.
    कंप्यूटर जनित पुष्टि-पृष्ठ पर मुद्रित पंजीकरण संख्या का उल्लेख सभी पत्राचार में किया जायेगा। इसलिए पुष्टि-पृष्ठ पर मुद्रित पंजीकरण संख्या को दर्ज़/नोट करना आवश्यक है।

 Mode of Selection

The selection process for ITICAT-2025 will be based on the performance of candidates in the Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT). The process is as follows:

1. Written Examination (ITICAT-2025):

   • All candidates must appear for a written examination that will test their knowledge in subjects such as Mathematics, Science (Physics and Chemistry), and General Knowledge.

   • The exam will be conducted offline (Pen & Paper mode) at various designated exam centers across Bihar.

   • The exam paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with equal marks for each question.

2. Merit List:

   • After the examination, a merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' scores in the written test.

   • The merit list will be made available on the official Bihar ITICAT website.

   • Candidates will be ranked according to their performance in the exam. Higher-ranked candidates will have better chances of getting admission to their preferred trade.

3. Counseling and Seat Allotment:

   • After the publication of the merit list, candidates will be called for counseling.

   • During counseling, candidates will be allotted seats in various ITI courses based on their rank, preferences, and availability of seats.

   • Candidates will need to bring their original documents for verification during the counseling process.

4. Document Verification:

   • After selection, candidates will have to undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility.

   • Documents such as academic certificates, identity proof, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other relevant papers will be checked during the verification process.

5. Final Admission:

   • Once the document verification is completed successfully, candidates will be given final admission into their chosen ITI course.

   • Admission letters will be issued to the selected candidates for enrollment.

Important Notes:

• The selection process is completely based on merit, and no interview or physical test is required.

• Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before applying to avoid disqualification during the selection process.

• Candidates who do not appear for the written examination will not be considered for further stages of selection.
